How to style vintage Corduroy pants this winter.

Hi there! how have you been? today, let's talk about how to style corduroy pants. These pants are a staple in our winter wardrobe it is such a versatile piece which you can style in many ways and due to its thickness, weight and texture it keeps you warm (best suitable for this season).

Ribbed corduroy fabric was very popular at the time of 19th century. However, the fabric was made more flexible and fashionable in urban cities. High rise corduroy pants are the one we are seeing the most. As we have talked in our previous blog post that the retro 90's-80's fashion is what we are and will be seeing everywhere around the internet.

Let's see how we can style this vintage bottom in casual ways for this winter season.

1. Sweater with patterns.

Knitted sweaters with patterns are the best combination to go with corduroy pants as they give the perfect retro vibe to the outfit. Make sure you layer any thin material like a tank top underneath the sweat shirt to keep you warm. Plain knitted sweaters gets the job done as the patterned one but to achieve that exact vintage aesthetic look to your outfit, patterns play a key role.

2. Plain white top.

When in doubt, style any colour corduroy pants with a plain white top may it be of long sleeves or short, tuck it in if necessary, it would look so effortless and chic. Pair it with converse, white sneakers and a shoulder bag. Add a belt to give that vintage vibe to your outfit.

3. Sweatshirts.

Baggy sweat shirt with high rise corduroy pants is the perfect outfit for this season which is a casual way to style corduroy pants. Pair it with converse or white sneakers, layer it with a turtle neck underneath to keep yourself warm.

4. Turtle neck.

Turtle neck can be literally layered underneath everything and is the most versatile piece so styling it with corduroy pants keeps you warm and stylist at the same time. Either a mock neck or knitted turtle neck goes extremely well with this bottom.

5. Baggy T- shirts.

Corduroy pants can also be paired with baggy graphic shirts to give off that exact 90's touch to your outfit and honestly such a comfortable fit if you are running some errands or lounging around.

The thing to keep in mind is choose the correct colour of corduroy pants like brown or beige which goes literally with any piece of clothing in your wardrobe and add accessories like bags, bucket hats, jewellery and shoes.
