Fashion trends that we will be seeing this year.

As we know that the y2k (year 2000) style is making such a mark in the fashion industry this year. I started seeing this style coming from mid 2020 like the hairstyles, baggy jeans, chunky sneakers etc., as this style is inspired from the year 2000 where different colours and mix of patterns looked so cool and unique such pieces are so in right now and I am here to help you find out more about these pieces that we will be seeing this 2021.

Here I am going to attach pictures of some pieces that are so cute and trendy to give you some outfit inspo and which you can give it a try. These are the pieces that I saved on my pinterest board because I am thinking of changing my wardrobe(but your girl is broke fr haha) and it is such a mess trust me it's full of boring clothes. Now that my rant is over let's get into the topic that you clicked for.

1. Turtle Neck.

I have always talked about how to build basics in your wardrobe and turtle neck is one of the versatile basic piece to invest in and this year turtle neck is so in and they are seen in many different colours like sorbet pastel tones. These are quite easy to layer in winter and keeps us warm. We can make it a day to night outfit like you can pull an outfit with a turtle neck from day to night by adding a few pieces of jewellery of your choice. Whether it is trendy or not you will never go out of style with turtle necks and it is safe to say that turtle necks never go out of fashion.

2. Jackets with shoulder pads.

Jackets always give you that bossy vibe like for real they are not only suitable for corporate world but also suitable for casual street wear. The padded jackets are essential in this season because they are so chic and look so effortless. You can literally layer it up with a basic tee and jeans for a casual look. 3. printed pants.

Among all the printed pants style the one that caught my eye is the zebra pants. I think at this post they are all over the internet. As I mentioned at the start that we are gonna see mix and match of different patterns and colours this year so, zebra prints are the one which are so in. When it comes to styling such bottoms I would say start with a solid colour top and then mix and match the bottoms with different tops with unique patterns.

4. corduroy pants and Jackets.

Coming to corduroy jackets they make a simple outfit look classy with right amount of accessories. Investing in such type of statement piece is worth it as you can style it up in many ways.

5. Sheer print tops.

Mesh top crew neck with prints and the main thing to keep in mind is the silhouette and the kind of details on the top like lettuce edge hem on the sleeves. Because there are a lot of sheer print tops available but the one which is inspired from the 2000 style is the one we just discussed about and have the details I mentioned above. 6. Pearl Jewellery.

Apart from fashion the jewellery which is so in right now are jewellery made of pearls. The most elegant way to accessorize your outfit which gives off that feminine touch to your outfit. We can also style them with casual outfit like a plain white shirt or a plain white blouse.

7. Hair styles.

This year is all about experimenting on your hair with cool and cute hair styles like front braids, a 90's blowout. Hair accessories like a big hair claw and coloured hair pins which gives that vintage vibe are so in right now and I highly recommend you to try any one of these out.
